The 20 Local Government Areas in Ogun State

If you have ever wondered, how many Local Government Areas do we have in Ogun State? Then this article is for you. There are Twenty (20) Local Government areas in Ogun State, Nigeria and the capital city of Ogun State is Abeokuta. Abeokuta means Refuge Among Rocks and it is the biggest city in Ogun State.

Ogun State was created on 3rd February 1976 and it is one of the 36 States in Nigeria. The other States in Nigeria include Edo, Lagos, Abia, Benue, Delta, Rivers State, and so on. In this article, the OgunObservers shall list and explain the 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Ogun State.
